Is curriculum the same as cover school enrollment?

No — they are two separate services. Purchasing curriculum does not enroll your child with AL Cover School, and enrolling does not include curriculum. Alabama families can use one, the other, or both.

Do I need to be enrolled with AL Cover School to use it?

No. The curriculum works for any homeschool family — whether you're enrolled with AL Cover School, another cover school, or homeschooling independently in any state.

How do placement tests work?

From your Parent Portal you can run a free, optional placement test. It pulls real questions from the curriculum, adapts up or down based on your child's answers, and recommends the best starting grade level per subject. Results are a recommendation only.

Can I cancel monthly access?

Yes, anytime. Your student keeps access through the end of the billing period, gradebook records are kept, and you can resubscribe whenever you like.
